The time was growing near. Soon the final awakening had to occur. This time it couldn't be her, actually it almost never was her. Someone else did the job she just tried to make sure none interfered with what must happen. She had to be close for this one. For one act could set the stream of time into a wildly flowing river that could destroy everything and everyone.

She was awake, she had not been awake for a very long time. That
she knew, but for how long she had slept she couldn't tell. She looked
next to her. There she seen the person she had slept next too for
so long.
"It's time to wake up," was softly whispered to the sleeping
form. It didn't stir. In a normal voice "Wake up," still
no response from the sleeping form. "WAKE UP NOW!" the only
response she got was it decided to roll over. 'hmmm' was all she
thought before leaning over and giving him a kiss.
Slowly the a pair of eyes open.
"It's about time you woke up, it's finally time.
They rise out of the bed they were in and make their way out of the
enclosure. They are greeted by a waist land full of yomas and other
beings that now roam freely about the planet.
"And our journey begins again."
"Who's there," asked Nodoka as she looked around her.
No one was in the room with her, for that matter no one was even in the
house with her. It had been occupied only by her for the past eleven
years. Her son and husband had left. They went to train around
Japan and China, only aware of where they were by the letters they sent
her. Unfortunately the letters had stopped a little over a year ago.
Then she started to visit the Tendo's in hopes of seeing them.
They were never there though always gone on training trips. Finally
she had discovered them hiding behind some Chinese curses that they had
received. She had understood about their hiding. Genma and
his stupid oath of seppuku. He still has a lot to make up for, especially
that There it was again, something calling out. Nodoka tried
to figure out where it was at.
There, it was in the house with her. She got
up and went towards the source of the calling. Silently looking around
for what was causing the disturbance she made her way into the attic.
Her eyes fell onto a secret opening in the wall. In there was what was
calling her. A tightly sealed box, its contents somewhat of a mystery
to her and to her ancestors that had passed it down for generations now.
Finally it seemed to want something. It had never done that before.
Not in the entire time her family had the item. Never was it recorded
that it did anything at all. Except the stories that were told.
They foretold great a great power held within the item. That would
be unleashed when it was needed once again. Was this such a time?
She thought about all that she had been told about the object. She
couldn't remember anything about what to do when this occurred. She slowly
reached in and grabbed the object that had remained hidden from everyone
for a thousand years, wondering what secrets it held. Now that she
was holding it she noticed it wasn't done it wanted to be somewhere, but
where? She slowly descended the stairs with the item in hand.
She gathered a few items and left the house letting it guide her to its
destination.

It had awakened, where it was it didn't know. Upon investigating the area it found it was in a small village somewhere, and that the reason for its awakening was somewhere to the east. 'At least there is plenty of magic here to use' it thought as it began for its teleport to its summons.

later at the Tendo's
Ranma was bored. After the failed wedding attempt most of his fiancee's
stayed away from him. Including Akane, sure she had talked to him
a little but never long enough for him to say what he had wanted to say
that day. Of course Nabiki had a great deal to do with the failing
of the wedding, but it seemed like she was actually regretting her choice.
It just so happened that Akane had actually wanted to marry him.
A fact that suppressed Nabiki, but that wasn't his problem now. Akane
just recognized his presence and not much else. He had even wanted
marry her as well, but the Nanichuan was there for him. Of course
everyone else wanted it as well, and the wedding disintegrated. Putting
him where he was now. Trying to figure out exactly what to do now.
He had managed to get the rings from his mother after most of the 'guests'
had left, and he still had the engagement ring that his pop and Mr. Tendo
had gotten them at the last Christmas party.
"Great now all I need is to actually be able to talk to Akane
without anyone interfering." (sigh) 'as if that
would ever happen'
"Talk about what, Ranma?"
"Akane?! Where did you come from?"
"I came to tell you that your mother is here. What did you want to
talk about?"
"The wedding actually. Look I'm sorry. I didn't mean for
it to happen," Ranma is looking at the floor and doesn't notice Akane
starting to glow a bright blue, " I wanted to m-marry you but everything
got out of control," Ranma reaches into his pocket pulling out a
object in his fist. "I'm not sure what I can do to make up for the wedding
but I can do this," He gets up and walks over to Akane. "
Akane, I L-lo-love you, will you marry me?" Ranma opens his
hand showing Akane the engagement ring.
"Yes, you baka,"
"And this time no one will interfere" said a new voice from the door.
Nodoka shut the door and walked into the room.
Before the door was totally shut Ranma caught a glimpse of the people
standing in the hall, Nabiki, Ryoga, and a very pale Happosai were staring
at his mother. Then his mother was walking towards them.
"Where are pop and Mr. Tendo, I figured they'd be dancing in the hall,"
Asked Ranma.
"Kasumi is entertaining them with some sake," Replied Nodoka.
"What and they didn't invite me" could be heard through the door.
Nodoka gets up and opens the door with her hand on her katana "If you
aren't out of here in 3 seconds...."
Before she could finish her threat the hallway was clear of everyone.
Turning around Nodoka started talking.
"Ranma I have come here for a reason. It had nothing to do with your engagement, but now we also must figure out what is to be about it. You have finally made a choice that everyone will have to abide by. That will be for later however, I have something more important to talk to you about. First there is a decision that all of this line has had to make. What I am about to tell you has passed on from generation to generation for longer than history is clearly recorded. I did not tell this to Genma nor do I plan to, but you have the decision now whether to let Akane hear this now or maybe tell her later it is your choice."
"I want Akane to hear this."
"Very well then. You will be Tendo Ranma when you marry Akane. We take the family name of those we marry to hide our ancestry. Our line has passed down this for many generations. How many I do not know, and we must keep passing it along to our children until one is chosen. Normally it is passed on when they marry." Nodoka takes a box out of her kimono and sets it in front of them, "This item along with what history we know is what is passed on. The item in this box is supposed to give its holder a tremendous amount of power. That power was created to defend Earth from monsters and other beings that would threaten the planet. This power was however to be the last line of defense. It has been said that the last time that this power was to be needed that there was a great power unleashed that sent the evil was locked away and all the others that had a similar power into the future to have a peaceful life where none could now exist. That is all that I can tell you now. There is a place that has some of the actual records of the time, but they can't tell you much more. A record was never made about what was destroyed or who or what destroyed it."
"Hello Nodoka." Came a voice from the window.
"Hello Honored Elder," said Nodoka
"What do you want old ghoul?"
Cologne whacks Ranma over the head with her stick "Respect your elders son-in-law."
"Sorry I am afraid he is not your son-in-law Cologne, he has decided to marry Akane." Said Nodoka
"You know amazon law as well as I Nodoka. He defeated Shampoo." Replied Cologne
Nodoka picks up the box. "That may be, but he is the holder of this as I was the holder before him."
Cologne looks carefully at the box and notices the strange symbol. 'I thought I felt something powerful' "So you were the holder of the box. It hasn't been in the amazon village in more that 500 years. I guess you also realize that it is the mark of the first amazon line."
Akane & Ranma "What?"
"Yes, I do, and that I why Shampoo can not marry Ranma. He has already made his choice."
"Very well, but I will expect start training him soon. If he is what I think than he will need all the training he can get." Said Cologne.
"Agreed. Sense they are out of school you can start training them tomorrow. They will not be starting College for a while so we can also arrange the wedding while we are at it."
"Great these two are about as bad as pop and Mr. Tendo" Ranma whispered to Akane. Akane just shook her head in agreement as they watched the two get up and leave the room.
"Today sure turned out to be an interesting day," commented Ranma
"Yea, but it was one of the best I can ever remember having" Replied Akane "Good night Ranma"
" 'night Akane"
After Akane left the room Ranma picked up the box and looked closely at it. Their was a large circle and inside the circle their was a odd symbol and surrounding the circle their was a star. Each point on the star had a different symbol. There was a crescent moon, a stylized h that had been turned upside down and several others that he didn't know but felt like he should. He set the box down on his dresser 'great just another thing to complicate my life' he thought as he shut off the light and got into bed.
He had been laying there for quite some time not being able to
shake the feeling that someone was watching him. He got up, went
over and opened up the window. Out of no where a black object blurs
by him into the room.
"don't be scared," it said "You have been chosen to help defend this
planet. Our allies are in danger and they need your help."
"Ok, so what do you want me to do about this?" asked Ranma
"Hold out your hand" is said.
Ranma could see it doing something, he couldn't tell what, nor could he make out what it was. He was holding out his hands like it had said and was waiting when a couple of arm bracers appeared in them.
"Ok, now what?" asked Ranma
"Put them on and say Terra Power"
Ranma puts them on and says "Terra Power"
After a sort transformation faze Ranma looks down to see that his clothing has changed. He still has the same familiar Chinese clothes that he is used to but his shirt is black with two dragons raping around it one red and the other green. Their heads converging on a yin yang symbol in the center of the shirt. His bracers have the same design as the box and his pants are black as well
"you will know what to do. Planet Teleport" it shouted

Ranma had been about to say something then he noticed that he was in the middle of a battle somewhere. He didn't know where but at least the signs were still in Japanese.
"Burning Thunder"
"Shining Aqua Illusion"
"Sparkling Vital Pressure"
"Damn we can't seem to harm this thing" Said a girl in a green sailor fuko
"What are you doing here, you better get out of here quick if you don't want to get heart." Said the girl in a red fuko
Ranma listened to this for a few moments trying to figure out what to make of it when the monster decided to launch a attack at him. Ranma leapt away from the blast and began to set up for one of his own when a new attack came to him.
"Earth Dragon Fire Engulf" Where the monster was standing there suddenly was a pillar of fire that had totally engulfed the monster. When the fire died down nothing was left of it. The girls started to encircle him asking him questions about where he came from and who he was. He didn't need this deposited in the middle of a fight with god knows what and now these girls wanted to play twenty questions. He just wanted to get out of there. Then it came to him.
"I am Terran. Planet Teleport" and he was gone.
